Historic Home Renovations on Gulf Coast

Historic Home Renovations on Gulf Coast

This page shows a quick process overview of renovating a historic home. This Bay St. Louis, MS home had great value to its owners. We carefully deconstructed and renovated according to plans. Below is our building process. The home was built in the early 1900’s and has historic value to its owner. It needed everything from sills to siding.

Much of the floor had to be removed to complete foundation repairs. The siding was removed and we started with the original stick built structure. It is a time consuming task to restore an old home, but we pride ourselves on the detail and quality that it takes to bring it back to life. We sheathed the updated framing to make a strong comfortable home. Next came the wonderful porch and metal roofing. Almost there, this picture highlights the difference from start to finish. The home is almost ready for the family.
